Insolvency Investigation
Services is a New Zealand organisation providing individual
recovery solutions to insolvency practitioners in terms of
Section 260A of the Companies Act 1993. This section allows
Liquidators to assign the right to sue to other persons.
Insolvency Practitioners appointed as Liquidators of failed
companies are often unable to fully investigate and fund
recoveries for the benefit of unsecured creditors. Insolvency
Investigation Services provides Liquidators with a solution to
this dilemma.
Insolvency Investigation Services will acquire the right to sue
from any Liquidator and investigate and prosecute the claim. If
successful, the Liquidator will then receive a substantial
dividend for unsecured creditors, whilst being fully protected
for the legal expenses and adverse costs orders during the
process of the claim.
Insolvency Investigation Services has extensive experience in
the investigation and recovery of claims in insolvency
administration. They have access to an extensive team of
solicitors, barristers and other experts required for the
successful recovery and resolution of such claims.
